I uncovered my passion for music when I was in high school when I kept winning the talent shows, with the highest honors of coming in 2nd place in a city wide Talent Show for the entire city of Atlanta GA. From that point on, after graduating from high school in 1977 at 16 years old, I knew I had a passion to to sing and be on stage! I was accepted into singing groups, church, elementary school performance choirs, production choirs, theater, song writing, and now the big screen movies, which has led to me having a LEAD ROLE an upcoming independent film EMERGE coming April 2020. Enduring 4 decades plus, I know "It was my calling to share my passion of music and the arts of entertainment with the world". Thank you God.

I followed my musical dream to the "Entertainment Capital of the World" LAS VEGAS NEVADA, Oct. 1995. Since arriving I have recorded 3 original music CDS, recorded on many recordings with local artists, I've performed at most Casinos in Las Vegas from conventions, corporate, lounges, house parties, weddings, homegoing services and much more. I've also been blessed to have travelled seven times to 5 countries and have taught myself how to sing songs in several languages sharing my gift through song. I also perform for the senior communities, hospitals, and charity foundations." Music is for all people. It's a healing." -Avana

I find inspiration all around me. I always want to make my music a representative of myself and my generation. Because of my love for the art, I often find myself sharing my knowledge with other inspiring vocalists. These are things I had to learn on my own. I made my own path and from me sharing my own personal insights, others are often inspired by me to continue to follow their passion. For this I'm eternally humbled and grateful to have such talented artists around me.
